Doug had a mighty fine childhood in a small Missouri town. He graduated from SMSU with a Bachelor of (mighty) Fine Arts degree in Commercial Art. He moved to Nashville, TN to work in the art department of a large publishing company. He married a mighty fine girl and has two mighty fine (and very talented) children. After 21 years he left the art department to begin a freelance illustration career, which has been doing mighty fine for over ten years. All of the illustrations on this web site were created with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and his trusty G4 Mac. Mighty fine indeed.
